As a CNC miller you will be working with modern 3-, 4- and 5-axled milling machines in a high-tech production environment on interesting workpieces (single piece or small batch production)

What would your working week look like?

As a CNC Miller you are responsible for the availability of correct and complete technical blueprints, the materials and the tools that are needed for an efficient execution of the tasks at hand. Whenever a machine isn’t operating, it costs money. Therefore, you’ll take the responsibility of an optimal technical and organizational preparation, with which the preparation of the program on which the machine operates of importance is.

You should be able to execute multiple tasks at the same time with a high standard quality. You’re accurate in the execution of your responsibilities and you’re accurate when executing inspections. It is of importance that the product is according to the drawing, so that it can be passed on to the next phase in the production process. This includes the application of a serial number, the deburring and the application of a radius.

On top of that, you are result-orientated and quality driven. Whenever a problem occurs, you will inform your manager.

Your responsibilities

• Independently work from technical blueprints and execute the final inspection of the product;
• Independently program and operate machines;
• Independently select and assemble the tools needed for machining;
• You take responsibility for the environment that you work in and make sure that this cleaned, neat and has overview;
• You take initiative and lend a hand where needed.

Our expectations

• Secondary vocational education;
• You possess at least 3-5 years of work experience on a similar level;
• You speak and understand English;
• You are skilled to work with conventional CNC lathes and/or Milling machines;
• You have experience with 4- and 5-axled milling machines, desired additional experience with other operational systems;
• You’re passionate about machining;
• Working in double shifts isn’t a problem for you;
• You are innovative and solution-orientated for the purpose of revising and maintenance work;
• You possess the knowledge of safety procedures and regulations;
• You’re accurate, flexible and conscious about costs and quality.
